⚡ The Bottom Line

What is white label link building?

White label link building is a service where one agency builds backlinks for another agency's clients and delivers the placements under the buying agency's brand. The end client sees their agency's reporting and name; they never see the fulfillment partner.

Lifted Websites sells it in three monthly tiers, $500, $1,000 and $1,500, each with competitor-gap link selection, indexation within 14 days, a 90-day replacement guarantee and a rebrandable Google Sheet report. Month to month, agencies only.

Why most white label link building burns agencies

You already know the script. You sell SEO to a client, you outsource the link building to a vendor who promised "1,000 DR sites in your dashboard," and three months later half the links are deindexed, the rest are on PBNs your client's competitor flagged on Twitter, and you're the one on the call explaining what happened.

White label link building only works when the agency placing the links cares more about your client retention than their own per-link margin. Most don't. Most overseas link vendors run on volume. They sell the same blog network to forty agencies a quarter, the link velocity gets flagged, and the agency holding the client relationship eats the cleanup.

The other failure mode is the "replacement policy" written to never actually replace anything. You report a dropped link. They ask for proof. They ask again. The 30-day window quietly expires. Your client's referring-domains chart shows a dip. You're stuck either eating the cost or finding a new vendor mid-campaign.

We built this service because we ran our own agency clients into both walls. The reverse-engineering method below is what we use on our own campaigns, not a separate white label tier with weaker links. You get the same fulfillment that built our DR 55 backlink profile.

How reverse-engineered white label link building works

Most link building is some version of "buy a list, hope for the best." Every link we build for your client is reverse-engineered from what already ranks against them, so we only place on sources that have proven they pass equity to pages in that niche. Four steps, every subscription, every month.

  1. Analyze competitors. At the start of each cycle we pull the top three to five ranking competitors for your client's primary keyword set, export their backlink profiles from Ahrefs, filter for live and indexed links, and stack them against your client's profile. This is the same gap method in our guide to how many backlinks you need to rank.
  2. Map the gaps. A gap is a domain linking to two or more of your client's competitors but not to your client. Those are the priority targets because the editorial fit is already established. We rank gaps by relevance, traffic, and the anchor patterns competitors used to win the link.
  3. Match the database. Every gap cross-references our internal source list: publishers we've placed on before, organized by niche, content type and indexation rate. A match means a fast, predictable placement. No match means the gap briefs a new outreach.
  4. Place and report. Links go live within the month, index within 14 days, and are logged to a white-labeled Google Sheet with publisher URL, live link, anchor text, page authority and placement date. If a link drops inside 90 days we replace it with an equivalent or better placement.

White label link building packages

Agencies don't churn over price, they churn over surprises. Every tier has the same fulfillment standard, the same report format and the same guarantee. Volume and publisher tier are the only differences. Switch tiers any month without restarting the campaign.

  • Vetted source-database placements

What every plan includes

  • Link placements chosen from a monthly competitor gap analysis, not a for-sale inventory list
  • White-labeled Google Sheet reporting you can rebrand in about 30 seconds
  • 90-day replacement guarantee with no claim window: it drops, we replace it
  • Every link indexed within 14 days or resubmitted at no charge
  • Anchor strategy aligned to the client's existing roadmap: roughly 40% branded, 30% naked or generic, 20% partial match, 10% exact match, adjusted to the client's current profile
  • No PBNs, no link farms, no AI-generated host content, no recycled blog networks
  • Zero client exposure; we never communicate with your client
  • NDA on request, signed before any client data changes hands
  • Month to month, cancel any time, no annual lock-in

How we prove the links are real

Most link vendors post a "featured on" strip of logos from a press release, or a list of free profile sites dressed up as placements. We don't publish our publisher list at all. The moment a working source is public, forty agencies try to buy on it and the relationship dies.

What we do instead: on a call, under NDA, we open the live Google Sheet from a current client campaign and click through the placements with you. Publisher, DR, anchor, placement date, still live. Then we run the free gap analysis below on one of your clients so you can judge the inputs before you pay for the outputs.

⚠️ Where we're not the right fit

We build in English-language markets: US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand. If your client needs links in German, French or Japanese publications, a regional specialist will do better and we'll say so on the call. We also don't sell to brands or single-business owners directly; the whole workflow assumes you own the client relationship.

Who should outsource link building

An agency should outsource link building when it isn't the agency's core service, when in-house fulfillment costs more per link than a partner, when client demand is outpacing capacity, or when the agency wants to sell link building without building outreach infrastructure. The math usually turns at five or more SEO retainers: that's the point where the alternative is a full-time link builder at $4,000 to $8,000 a month before tools and management.

Our white label clients fall into three groups. The established SEO agency that does on-page, technical and content in-house and doesn't want to staff outreach. The web design or marketing agency that gets pulled into SEO because clients ask and needs to deliver credibly. And the solo consultant running five to fifteen retainers who needs leverage; building a link team alone is a year-long project, plugging into a subscription is a same-week one.

Agencies that also want us on the hosting side pair this with white label WordPress support. If you serve local clients, the Local SEO packages show what the same link process looks like inside a full retainer.

White label link building FAQ

How is this different from buying backlinks from a marketplace?

Marketplaces sell pre-existing inventory: you pick a site from a list and pay, with no test of whether the link helps your client rank. Reverse-engineered link building starts from the competitor backlink profiles, finds the domains linking to competitors but not to your client, and sources placements that match. The link is chosen because it already passes equity to a ranking competitor, not because it's for sale.

What happens if a link drops?

If any placement drops within 90 days we replace it with an equivalent or better placement at no cost. No claim form, no proof-of-drop process, no expiring credit. You notify us, we verify it's down, and the replacement goes in the next monthly cycle. Links that survive 90 days have very high long-term stability.

How do I rebrand the reports?

Reports arrive as Google Sheets with no Lifted Websites branding anywhere in the file. Make a copy, change the title, add your logo to the top row, send. The format is identical every month, so after the first one it's a copy-paste operation.

How fast will my client see ranking results?

Most clients see measurable movement within 60 to 120 days, and we won't promise specific positions because rankings also depend on the client's on-page, technical and content baseline. Authority links compound: month three usually shows more movement than month one, and month six more than month three.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, on request, before any client information is exchanged. We sign standard mutual NDAs and one-way NDAs protecting your client list. Most of our agency clients work under NDA by default and we have a template ready to send the same day.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Every plan is month to month with no cancellation fee. Cancel mid-cycle and we finish the placements already in progress for that month, then stop. There is no 90-day wind-down.

How does billing work?

Subscriptions bill monthly on your start date by card, or ACH on request. Billing begins after the kickoff call once we have client URLs, target keywords and anchor preferences. Invoices are tax-compliant US invoices you can pass straight to accounting.

💡 Not sure which tier a client needs?

It comes down to the size of the link gap between your client and the pages outranking them. Run the client's primary keyword through the framework in how many backlinks you need to rank, then match monthly volume to the gap.

Send one client URL and the two or three competitors you want to outrank. We run the same day-one analysis paid subscriptions get and send back the highest-priority link gaps. No call, no card, no countdown timer.

💡 Not Sure Which Tier Your Client Needs?

Tier selection comes down to one question: how big is the link gap between your client and the pages outranking them? We broke down the exact math — by keyword difficulty, niche, and competitor profile — in our guide on how many backlinks you need to rank. Run your client's primary keyword through that framework first, then match the monthly link volume to the gap.

Working with TJ and Lifted Websites has been an incredible experience. I own and operate two home-service companies, each serving a unique vertical and a very specific clientele within the HVAC industry. TJ took the time to truly understand both businesses, our customers, and the vision behind each brand. The difference between Lifted Websites and the agency I previously worked with has been night and day. TJ provides a level of customized service and strategic thinking that is difficult to find. He is extremely knowledgeable and well-versed in all things AI, search, and SEO, and he understands how these technologies are changing the way customers find and choose service-based businesses. His communication is excellent, every deliverable has been completed on time, and he consistently makes the entire process feel organized and collaborative. One of the things I appreciate most is being able to bounce ideas off TJ, brainstorm together, and develop a clear strategic vision for the future. He listens, contributes thoughtful ideas, and genuinely cares about helping our businesses succeed. TJ is an absolute pleasure to work with, and I would highly recommend Lifted Websites to any home-service business looking for a knowledgeable, dependable, forward-thinking, and creative website and marketing partner.
